First and foremost let it be said, that this fashionista can no longer take it and it is a new life ambition of mine to attend New York Fashion Week at least once in my life. Let the tap ramen diet commence so I can save up…but moving on.

Loved Taylor’s use of metalics combined with soft shades of violet and rose. Now this is how a girly girl does fall!
So Rebecca Taylor is a label that is typically associated with exuding uber girly, very feminine pieces. Think of Taylor Swift and Reece Witherspoon as the Rebecca Taylor girl. Simply fabulous, classic and feminine. Perhaps Fall is more for structured labels such as Alexander Wang and Helmut Lang. I’ll give it to Taylor, while at first I was taken back by her first few pieces debuted on the runway, she seemed to save the best for last.
My FAVORITE pice was a two toned navy and grey peplum top. (As seen above.) First of all, I’m so glad the peplum trend is continuing! But never before have I seen a ruffle with so much drama! Gasp! This piece is a must have for sure!
Throughout her show it was her pieces that were more traditional to the Rebecca Taylor name, such as her flowy skirts, bold but feminine prints and of course her use of rose pink. Her rose pink leather jacket was to die for! Although, if I’m being completely honest I fell head over 6 inch heels, Carrie loves Big, in love with all of her outerwear pieces.

While I get Fall imposes a “dress code” of color and structure so to speak, I was not a fan of the dark colors and bulky pieces in this collection
