Although if I’m being completely honest I wear pink every holiday. When I worked at Disneyland, my co-workers and I, also known as the BFF’s of The CLL of the DTD, would celebrate the 3rd of July rather than the 4th due to the fact we would be working. So we decided to come up with a new concept. On the 3rd of July, we wear pink and green. This holiday I decided to carry on the tradition of pink minus the green. I replaced the green with some bright cheerful colors like red, purple and of course sparkle. (Really and truly sparkle should be a color. Just because it can’t be a crayon doesn’t mean it should be cut from the color wheel. Dear Crayola, please consider this.)
Growing up I used to hate getting clothes for Christmas. Unless they were for my Barbie, she could never have too many clothes. Than as I got older I realized new clothes are so much better when they’re for me. Now, just like unwrapping a new Christmas gift I find it to be my own personal tradition to celebrate every Christmas in a new outfit. Merry Christmas to me!
