Still holding strong to my “Made In the U.S.A” mission, my OTD was influenced by more then just a Demi Lovato song. Or the good ol’ red white and blue I suppose.
More and more my selections at a store are becoming influenced by where a garment was manufactured from. A mission that can prove to be difficult when I love shopping at Forever 21.
Alas, not only can I have somewhat of a piece of mind that an innocent dog was not sacrificed maliciously in the name of fashion (an image that started my whole ban against clothing made in China courtesy of a PETA video and is applicable I suppose only to fur pieces.) But I can also rest somewhat easy knowing that the garments were not made whilst sacrificing the safety and well being of the person assembling the piece. At least I would hope.
Thus my entire outfit (with the exclusion of my Chloe sunglasses) was proudly made in the USA. There’s nothing better then looking cute while supporting the economy of the good ol’ red white and blue.
You make your Grandpa Merv so so proud your Grandma Norma too…
