Get Catty with a Lauren Conrad tutorial

So not only am I obsessed with fashion, but I’m crazy about literature on the subject as well. And while I love Vogue just as much as the next fashionista and refer to it as “the bible” I also love reading about fashion icons and their interpretation of the basics.

Basics can refer to anything from your basic pair of jeans, to your lbd or your favorite basic t. But lets face it, basics are not just exclusive to the items that reside in your closet. There are also beauty basics, and the thing that I love about this tutorial is that its simple, and elegantly goes step by step over one of the most basic and classic makeup looks, the cat eye.

Lauren goes over her love for liquid eyeliner in her “Beauty” book and I’m not going to lie, ever since reading her argument I’ve been compelled to switch from my wooden pencil to this liquid heaven she describes. I love trying new things and I can’t wait to try this look!
